LWS (“Let’s Watch Something”) is a personal app Stuart DeSpain built for his own household. It isn’t offered to the public.
What it reads. LWS uses YouTube API Services, with read-only access, to get the list of channels our YouTube account subscribes to and those channels’ public videos. It never posts, subscribes, likes, comments on or changes anything on YouTube.
Where it goes. The data is stored only on a computer in our home. It isn’t sold or shared, it isn’t sent anywhere else, and it isn’t used for advertising.
Turning it off. Disconnecting YouTube in LWS deletes its stored sign-in. You can also remove LWS’s access at any time at myaccount.google.com/connections.
LWS’s use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. See also YouTube’s Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms) and Google’s Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
